One Future, #ZeroHunger will shine a light on the scourge of hunger and malnutrition affecting communities that rarely make it into the stories that occupy the front pages of newspapers, the trending web stories, or headline television news.
These are people who had the misfortune to be born in circumstances where access to good, nutritious food is not a given and whose lives and future health will be blighted by a gnawing, hidden hunger.
Working together with governments, civil society groups and big business, we can press for the kinds of changes that will help them working to bring an end to extreme poverty, to provide support to the many millions of smallholder farmers around the world, and to improve access to nutritious food so that we can make Zero Hunger a reality.
Every time we think it cannot be done, we should remind ourselves that we are already moving in the right direction.
Having 800 million hungry people around the world is nothing to boast about, but it is still about 170 million less than it was ten years ago.
Together we have one future with zero hunger.
